Trading/Reselling Rules
If you're looking to trade, sell, or give away your character, we have some important rules to ensure fairness for all members.
Repeated violations of these rules can lead to consequences, so please read carefully!

🌱 My furarrium's value
In each Furarrium’s masterlist, you'll find their value in USD under the 'stats' section.
The rule is simple: You cannot sell a Furarrium for more than its listed value on the masterlist.
If the value is $0, you are not allowed to sell it.
Trading and Value
When trading, the value of the Furarrium remains the same, even if you trade it for something of greater or lesser value.
(e.g., if you trade a $0 Furarrium for one worth $60, the $0 Furarrium retains its $0 value)
However, trading your Furarrium also does not mean that Furarrium loses value.
Furarriums that were previously traded can still be sold for the worth listed on the masterlist.
Gifting
If you gift a Furarrium (transfer it for free), its value automatically resets to $0.
Furarriums or MYOs obtained through raffles, events, dailies, or other free methods also have a $0 value.
Add-Ons
Add-ons are additional items included with a Furarrium during a sale.
If selling a Furarrium for its listed worth, you cannot ask for add-ons that require spending money.
Allowed: Artwork, seeds, other characters the trader owns, etc.
Not allowed: Physical items (that require paying for shipping), video games, buying characters, etc.
However, you can ask for paid add-ons if they don't exceed the total value of the Furarrium being bought.
🌱 Appraisals
Your furarrium's worth is not set in stone, however. We highly encourage collecting art and items for your characters, and so, all art of a character that you buy, trade for, or make yourself can be added to your furarrium's worth via appraisals.
Your Furarrium’s value isn’t fixed! You can increase it by having art or items associated with your Furarrium appraised.
What can be appraised?
Anything that was bought can be appraised for the value it was bought for.
Anything being appraised must be of the official Furarrium design - art or items bought for alternative designs are not included in your Furarrium's worth.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Bought trait items (used on the Furarrium)
- Bought pets (used on the Furarrium)
- Colored digital artwork
- Traditional artwork
- Plushies/sculptures
- Live2D models
- Animations
- Writing (if it was paid for)
What if I didn't buy it?
Artwork that was made by yourself or obtained via trades can also be included in your appraisal, however it is up to the moderators to determine their worth.
(Our moderators make a commitment to being non-biased ; we determine worth based on the intentions of the artist, not perceived quality.)
A piece's worth will almost always be somewhere in this range:
Headshot/Icon/Bust/Tiny Chibi: $1-10
Halfbody: $5-15
Fullbody: $10-30
Plush/Sculpture/Live2D Model/Animation/Scene/Other Misc. High-Effort Work: $20-50
Non-colored artwork, writing not paid for, and items or pets obtained through events or by paying seeds are not eligible to be appraised.
How do I get my Furarrium appraised?
To get your Furarrium appraised, submit a prompt and select 'Appraisals' from the options. For each piece of artwork or item, provide:
- A link to the artwork/item
- Proof of purchase (DM or receipt screenshot)
- Proof of worth (Screenshot of advertised price) (This is potentially optional, but will be asked for if you can't otherwise prove how much you paid)
ALL of these must be in the form of valid links that the moderators can access, otherwise you cannot get your appraisal approved! (No discord hyperlinks, they don't work half the time! And remember, anything uploaded to Google Drive has to have link sharing turned on!)
Please format your appraisal request as a bulleted list, following this format:

If you don't provide a worth, we will automatically assume to assess your work based on the non-paid artwork guidelines above.
If you don't provide proof of purchase, but still list a worth, your appraisal of that artwork will be declined.
If the proof of purchase you provide appears to be faked or invalid, your appraisal will be declined completely, and you may be investigated for disciplinary action.
🌱 Making a trade or sale
Trading/Selling Cooldown
You must wait 48 hours before reselling or retrading a Furarrium you just received (whether from a raffle, trade, sale, etc.).
Advertising
A Furarrium must be on the official masterlist before being advertised for trade or sale.
When advertising through Toyhouse or Discord, the masterlist link must be included in the character’s Toyhouse description.
Art Payments/Payment Plans
We highly encourage you to not commit to trading for Furarriums in exchange for art, or to asking the owner about payment plans, if you have already commited to art trades or payment plans that you have yet to complete.
We also ask that you do not transfer a character to somebody who has not completed an art payment or payment plan - as a trade or sale is considered complete once you transfer a character. A moderator can get your character back to you on this website, but have no control over your character's Toyhouse profile.
Members can report a user who has been committing to art payments or payment plans and then not following through. If there's proof of a pattern, you may be investigated for disciplinary action.
Trading Requests
While it's respectful to honor requests from the original owner during a trade - such as a request for "first priority" if they ever trade it away, or a request to not use a name, story, or previous design, we have no rules against not adhering to these sorts of requests. Please work these out privately with the other party.
Disciplinary Action
Not following these rules, especially to scam or scalp other community members, could result in disciplinary action, such as:
- Appraisal denials
- Event bans
- A temporary or permanent blacklist from the species
