PRIMALS

Lore
Furarriums originally existed only in their primal form. When the magic within Malahanau created the first Furarriums, they were granted the unique ability to change their shape. As they wandered the island, searching for a form that resonated with them, they eventually encountered domesticated dogs whom they chose to mirror the appearance of. Over time, as the Furarriums' population grew and they spread across the world, some found themselves drawn to different animals, such as cats, deer, foxes, and even dragons. However, they soon discovered that they could only accurately mimic mammals—since they needed to keep their large glass tails and fluffy fur. The species a Furarrium chose became a key part of their identity, deeply embedded in their DNA, which made it nearly impossible for most to change their form once selected, and continues to be difficult to this day... until they discovered how to become Archeons.
Primals are about 6 inches tall when standing on all four legs, except for species like deer or dragons, who tend to be a bit taller, or bunnies or raccoons, who tend to be a bit shorter. Primal forms generally don't wear clothes, in order to show off their uniquely patterned coats of fur and not overheat. However, accessories such as collars, hats, and bracelets have gotten very popular to wear as fashion statements. Primals can also turn into Archeons or Idols freely, but plenty of Furarriums simply choose to stay as their one primal form.
Features
🌿 Fluffy fur
By default, an Primal's hair must have one color from the Idol form's hair. Primals can have any assortment of colors or shapes for the markings on their fur, but the markings cannot change color or shape without a Color-Changing or Multiform trait.
(The fur doesn't have to be fluffy. They could even be a hairless cat if you'd like. But they have to be a mammal.)
🌿A glass tail
Your Furarrium carries their glass tail, and any other glass placements, throughout their forms. These glass tails are generally quite big.
The contents inside of their glass also stay consistent between forms.
🌿An animal species
Every furarrium is assigned a species - even Idol-only furarriums - but Primals in particular must have the same anatomy of their given species. Primals characteristically stay on all four legs, which have to stay as paws/hooves/claws/whatever their species would have normally, unless a trait says otherwise. The same goes for their ears, nose, face shape, body type, and tail; they should follow what their species would have unless they have a trait to change it.
🌿Objects on their body
Plants or rocks are the default item to have placed on a Furarrium's body. However, traits can change that to any object at all. These objects maintain approximate placement on their body between forms.
Reference must be full-body and all design aspects must be visible, including eyes, markings, any glass patches, tail, and fillings. Flat-colored is preferred.
